| Retreats There are various types of retreats - ones that run every weekend and others that run for about a month or two. These are directed at those who have not been to Church in years, or have no idea about the Faith they were baptized in. These are followed up by "home sessions" of questions/answers, Bible study and support groups. These meet on a weekly basis for months, even years ... Another is a weekend retreat for catechists, teachers, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, confirmation candidates, retreat leaders, teenagers, musicians, parents, etc. Any given weekend can serve any given group. All these retreats cost money - for the food and/or drink provided. Most of the
people who come are from the city or surrounding towns and can go "home" for the
evening and return the next day. However, lunch and some refreshment and snack
are provided — usually by us. |
