The Clinic

Sister Cristina has a free clinic for the the poor in Jinotepe. Each day for two hours a volunteer doctor comes to serve any and all those who come: Doctors may be a pediatrician, general practitioner, gynecologist, etc. Any medical machinery we get goes to the clinic, as do any medicines, especially doctor's samples.

Should any needy person require surgery, it is paid for and recuperation - for as many days needed - is made at the clinic, where we have room just for that. Most of the furniture and items in this small clinic have come from Western New York...
